Communications Department
The Communications Department
(Switchboard) is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week to take incoming calls, assist with outgoing
calls, alert personnel of code or alarm situations, to maintain accurate patient information in
regard to the census and patient billing. The Switchboard also acts as an answering service and
forwards all message to the appropriate persons(s). The Department is responsible for maintaining
up-to-date on-call schedules for all staff physicians
