Respiratory Therapy
Goal
To deliver
individualized diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care procedures in order to improve and
maintain health. These services will be delivered by members of the Respiratory Therapy Department
and Nursing Service in accordance with criteria developed by the respiratory care staff, the
medical director, and other appropriate individuals.
Services Provided
- Therapeutic services provided in the adult and pediatric patient include: oxygen therapy,
humidity and aerosol therapy, aerosolized medication therapy, IPPB therapy, chest physical
therapy, incentive spirometry, ventilator management, CPR, airway care and assistance, and
bronchoscopy procedures.
Hours of operation
- Respiratory care
practitioners are available on site 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
