Millcreek Geriatric Education & Care Center (dba Millcreek Manor) is part of the Millcreek Health System, and is affiliated with both Millcreek Community Hospital and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.


Millcreek Manor first opened in 1990 on Poplar St. as a 33 bed intermediate unit. The new facility opened in 2000 on Peach St. with a Medicare skilled certification. In 2008, Millcreek Manor expanded to a total of 50 beds.


A unique feature of Millcreek Manor and its contemporary long-term care facility is that it is located adjacent to Millcreek Community Hospital. Therefore, in the event of an emergency, your loved one can expediently be admitted to the hospital and receive prompt medical attention. In addition, other services available to residents of Millcreek Manor from Millcreek Community Hospital include: pharmacy, laboratory and X-ray, emergency, surgery, podiatry, Social Services and Notary services.

We work closely with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, which is the region’s premier osteopathic medical school. Millcreek Manor is proud to offer LECOM students the educational opportunity to study geriatric medicine and to learn more about long-term care. Additionally, LECOM student are often volunteering their time participating in various activities held at Millcreek Manor.
