Our outpatient therapy services are available when you need them

Millcreek Community Hospital offers a range of inpatient and outpatient therapy services, including:

• Physical Therapy
• Respiratory Therapy
• Hemodialysis

The Physical Therapy is an integral part of both in-patient and out-patient treatment here at Millcreek Community Hospital. Our therapists treat a variety of orthopedic, medical,surgical and neurologic cases. Our goal is to maximize recovery from injury, illness, or surgery, and promote exercise, fitness, and healthy living. Our dedicated team of rehabilitation professionals will work with you and your family to develop a program individually tailored to your needs. Prompt return of our patients to work, sport and pain-free living is our top priority.

The Respiratory Therapy department is here to deliver diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care procedures in order to improve and maintain your health. Our staff provides therapeutic use of medical gases and administration apparatus environmental control systems, humidification, aerosols, medications, ventilatory support, broncho-pulmonary drainage, pulmonary rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and airway management.

• We provide long term vent care for residents of Millcreek Manor when needed, and have recently been approved for 4 long term vents.

MCH's Hemodialysis Unit provides care to patients experiencing acute and/or chronic renal failure during the hospitalization phase and planning for the immediate post-hospital needs of the patient. Hemodialysis is performed at the bedside in Intensive Care or on the Med. Surg Unit.
